VCU Rhoads Hall II
Richmond, Virginia

Construction is underway on Rhoads Hall II, a new 17-story cast-in-place concrete tower adjacent to an existing dormitory, Rhoads Hall, at Virginia Commonwealth University. The 160,000 square foot dormitory contains six suites per floor, each with four bedrooms, two baths, and a living room.

The first floor contains a student lounge, laundry facilities, and study labs. The new lobby will serve both the new building and the existing building, which remains occupied during construction.

The project included demolition of an existing three-story structure on the site. W. M. Jordan Company was selected as a Construction Manager at Risk for this project.

This is W. M. Jordan Company's third project for Virginia Commonwealth University. Previous projects included The School of Engineering and renovations to Sanger Hall.
